Shayla A. Moore is the author of the e-book, You're Not My Mother, You're a Narcissist.  While being unemployed from working as a paralegal in Nashville, Tennessee, Mrs. Moore started her podcast Best For Me (Validating Narcissist Abuse Survivors and Daughters w/Narcissist Mothers.  

 

Moore speaks on the child abuse she experienced by her mother and how that abuse continued into her adult life while being a mother and wife with a family of her own.  

 

Being a proponent for going no contact with the narcissist even when the narcissist is a family member, Moore sets the boundaries needed for her to live her best life.  Best for Me is her mantra to express breaking free from the narcissist to embrace your individuality and become your authentic self to overcome the damaging effects of the  narcissist's abuse.
